Can someone remove the WP:COI tag? It looks like a cleanup has been done to comply with Wikipedia's content policies WP:WTRMT. COI tag (April 2021)[edit]

In biographies, in particular old one's like this, it's typical to give information about relatives to establish class and lineage which at one time was much more important as it shows where they stood in the social hierarchy which was pretty ridged. I don't see the trumpery/trivia in this paragraph:

Georges Boisot is the son of Jean François Louis Boisot, who was a Bishop at Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines and Louise Peter. He was married to Madelaine Perregaux, daughter of Alexandre Perregaux, architect and sculptor on ivory.

We learn he was the son of a Bishop which is pretty high up the ladder, but married the daughter of a professional artist which is lower down. You say this is "trumpery" but not really (artists in their day were a step above manual labor); and trivia when indeed it is enlightening as to his place in society. It's the sort of thing you see in thousands of other articles on Wikipedia and elsewhere. It sounds like the complaint isn't really about the content, but who added the content. -- GreenC 04:58, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
