Spicy?

[edit]

"filled with SPICY plum jam" IMO, though technically correct, this might be slightly misleading. I love to eat them and they really are SWEET. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/spicy also lists "having an agreeably pungent taste" but my first association of the word "spicy" is either being hot, like a "hot salsa" or "seasoned with or containing spice", which both are not the case for one of my favorite foods :-) My suggestion would be "sweet plum jam", but I am not good with semantics and to me it fells like a pleonasm - so sorry for not being bold :-) If anyone bolder is going to change that, please don't forget the main ingredients list on the right side Stevemiller (talk) 02:05, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you. I see that the main body is changed to use the word "spiced" instead of "spicy" which I think is much better. The ingredient list in the recipe infobox had not been updated, so I went ahead and did that. Very Fantastic Dude (talk) 20:17, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jewish cuisine?

This article is in a category "Jewish cuisine" but the text makes no mention of any Jewish connection. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.215.197.42 (talk) 13:56, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
