town or city?
[edit]Town is three times in the article, including infobox and the first four words of article: Gilmer is a town
City in mentioned seven times and an external link is titled "City of Gilmer official website", which itself starts with Welcome to the official webpage for the City of Gilmer,Texas
I'd like to see a source for calling this a town, or otherwise change the parts with "town" to "city". 88.114.246.209 (talk) 03:02, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
town or city??
[edit]I changed the status to city. The original page called it a city. Someone changed it to town in 2009 but left no cites. Both the 2000 and 2010 census call it a city. Someone added a cite after the first sentence in 2011. That cite also called Gilmer a city.Jdtrue63 (talk) 06:43, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
