This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Girls Names is a band with a worldwide following and receives heavy coverage for their releases from respected international websites and publications such as Pitchfork (http://pitchfork.com/artists/28704-girls-names/), NME (http://www.nme.com/reviews/artist/girls-names), BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/acrosstheline/2012/10/girls_names_stream_new_single.html), Consequence of Sound (http://consequenceofsound.net/tag/girls-names/), Tiny Mix Tapes (http://cdn3.tinymixtapes.com/music-review/girls-names-dead-me) and has a 75% average review score at aggregator Metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/person/girls-names?filter-options=music). They are signed to both a British (http://toughloverecords.com/girlsnames) and a US (http://www.slumberlandrecords.com/artists/show/94) record label and thus have their releases stocked across Europe and the US. This author feels they are more than deserving of a Wikipedia entry. --Djangology99 (talk) 19:13, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
