It might be interesting to note somewhere in the article that, during the reading of the Court's decision on this case, Chief Justice Stone suddenly died of a cerebral hemorrhage. It has no bearing on the legal opinion, of course, but, being the only time such an extraordinary event (the death of any sitting Justice) has happened during an open Court session, it might merit a small mention.Dhicks3 (talk) 03:48, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
From the little bit of research I just did, it looks like he got sick and had to leave immediately after reading his dissent, but he didn't die until later that evening. I did note the information (and the citation to the article I found) in the dissent section. It is definitely an interesting tidbit, thanks! Lexah06 (talk) 04:55, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
