[edit]File:GlamSci logo with moto.jpeg I got the logo and uploaded in Wikipedia and not Wikimedia Commons under fair use. Geraldshields11 19:06, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
- Corrected formatting. Geraldshields11 (talk) 19:41, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
- Should this logo be used or the current logo without the motto? Please discuss. Geraldshields11 (talk) 13:37, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- Non-free content can only be used in articles per WP:NFCC#9, so you can't display it here per WP:TPG#Non-free images. As for which of the two to use, the copyrightable element is basically identical and both are non-free; so, really only one is necessary per WP:NFCC#3a. Which of the two would be considered the primary logo used by the organization for recognition purposes? The official website uses the one with the motto, but the social media accounts seem to use both. My suggestion would be to use the one with the motto since that's the first thing you see at the top of the official website, and it basically provides the same information and serves that same purpose as the other. Just replace the current one used in the main infobox with the motto version, and let the other file be deleted as an orphan per WP:F5. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:21, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you Marchjuly. I made the change. Geraldshields11 (talk) 12:37, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
