Merge[edit]

I didn't see any discussion of the merger in the talk page history or any rationale. We don't usually redirect culinary articles to botanical articles. It would become messy very quickly if we were to make a habit of it. If a merger is proposed, would Turkish_cuisine#Meze_and_salads be a more appropriate target? I agree that merging it into a culinary list is the better option, although there's no reason it can't also be mentioned on the botanic article, since it's a valid use of the plant. If this stub can't be fleshed out, than it should be merged. Support merge to the Turkish_cuisine#Meze_and_salads article. Onel5969 TT me 15:29, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The merge was proposed by User:UpdateNerd back in May 2020 with this edit, and given that it was uncontested over about 6 months, and the case was rather obvious (long-standing stub which duplicated content already at the target in the pre-existing Culinary uses section), I proceeded with the merge. Don't mind it be reconsidered though. Merge to the alternative target would be fine too. Klbrain (talk) 15:55, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
