"Statement of faith"

[edit]

I made this revert because the text was never called a "statement of faith"; it just seems to be a welcome message. Also, the bit about the definition of megachurch was deleted for no apparent reason. StAnselm (talk) 21:07, 9 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • ... that after GracePointe Church, Nashville, Tennessee, extended full membership to LGBTQ people in 2015, average attendance fell by a third and they lost half of their average weekly donations? Source: "A month and a half later, Mitchell routinely receives emails inviting him to kill himself, often including the assurance they were sent in love from other Christians. Half of his 12-member board has left, along with half the average offering and about a third of the weekly attendance — once at 800 to 1,000 people." Hall, Heidi (3 March 2015).
