The last printed encyclopedia

It would be interesting to know, whether the Great Russian Encyclopedia is now the last true printed encyclopedia of the world. I don't know any other encyclopedia, were printed editions are renewed nowadays. The Encyclopædia Britannica is still available in it's 2010 edition, but newer editions will not be available in printed form. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.11.165.122 (talk) 10:08, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

A year later, by the decision of its Presidium of March 19, 1926, the Central Executive Committee of the USSR transferred the Command to its jurisdiction. The director of the International Book Publishing House N. N. Nakoryakov (1881-1970) was appointed to the post of chairman of the Board .

When the company was founded in 1925, its authorized capital was determined at 250 thousand rubles, with a par value of 1 share equal to 1000 rubles. In the future, the authorized capital increased regularly. In the course of additional share issues, their number increased from 250 to 1000, and by 1930 the authorized capital of Sovetskaya Encyclopedia JSC reached 1 million rubles [4] .

Withstood three editions:

the first edition (1926-1947) consisted of 65 volumes and an additional volume of the USSR without a number; the second edition (1949-1958) consisted of 49 volumes, volume 50 "USSR", additional volume 51 and volume 52 "Index" in two books (1960); the third edition (1969-1978) consisted of 30 volumes (volume 24 was published in two books: the second, an additional book - “The USSR”) and the additional volume “Alphabetical Index” without a number (1981). Great Russian Encyclopedia Main article: Great Russian Encyclopedia BDT is a universal Russian encyclopedia . It was published from 2004 to 2017. Electronic versions Together with the Multimedia.ru studio (Autopan), electronic versions of TSB (3rd edition), MME and IES (NIES) on CD-ROMs were prepared as part of the Golden Fund of Russian Encyclopedias project [7] . The rights to the online version belong to the Rubricon portal [8] . IES is the basis of the "Great Encyclopedia of Cyril and Methodius" of the company " Cyril and Methodius ".
