Title[edit]

The title should be Great South (political party), for consistency with other parties (The Network, Italy First etc.)--Maremmano (talk) 10:07, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Strongly oppose. I would rather move this article to Great South (Italy)—and The Network (political party) to The Network (Italy). Italy First is a particular case as it already includes "Italy" and what needs to be disambiguated is not the national context, but the nature of the subject, hence Italy First (airline) and Italy First (political party). --Checco (talk) 08:05, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I support Checco's alternative proposal to move the article to Great South (Italy).--Autospark (talk) 11:01, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Checco & Autospark: "Great South (Italy)" is a wrong title because "Grande Sud" is also the title of an Eugenio Bennato's album--Maremmano (talk) 22:43, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
LP names shall not be translated from Italian, German, French, etc. to English (and that obscure album does not even have an article in en.Wiki), thus "Great South (Italy)" is perfectly OK to me. --Checco (talk) 07:09, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
However Great South is the only party with this name, therefore a disambiguation that specifies the typology of page is more important than country--Maremmano (talk) 23:38, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I still think that this article should be named "Great South (Italy)", but in the meantime I moved it to "Great South (political party)", once proposed by Maremmano: the reason of the move is that "party" is too generic. Can we reach a consensus on "Great South (Italy)"? --Checco (talk) 11:21, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I fully agree on a move to Great South (Italy).--Autospark (talk) 17:47, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
"Great South (political party)" is the best title for this page. In this case the disambiguation must be "political party" because it is the only party with this name, while the title "Great South (Italy)" would be admissible if there were other parties with the same name --Maremmano (talk) 00:19, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
For an outsider is it more important to understand that GS is a party or from Italy? Definitely the latter. What needs to be disambiguated first is the geographical context, not the nature of the subject; that comes after. Logic is quite important. --Checco (talk) 08:25, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Definitely the first. Between more parties the disambiguation has to concern the country, but between pages about different objects, the disambiguation has to concern the object of the page, in this case a political party. --Maremmano (talk) 21:30, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I moved the article to Great South (Italy). --Checco (talk) 07:42, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
