Removal of peak services on Blue/Green Lines[edit]

so the pages for the green line and blue line both mention peak service both existing and being every ten minutes, neither of which has been true for a few years? and since i use the blue/green line semi-regularly that seems like something that ought to be fixed, but i do not really edit wikipedia enough to know how much information ought to be included or how to cover schedules that are very much in flux? so i'm just gonna dump all of the information i can find here and hope that someone more experienced than i could make some decisions on that front. so!

- the archived version of the line's scheduling page on the rta website only goes back as far as 2013, and it includes the 10 minute peak headways and 30 minute regular service headways mentioned in the current version of the article

- the rta announced a service change on april 10th, 2016, and the archived version of that schedule shows it reducing peak headways to 15 minutes; following that, another service change on march 11th, 2018 reduced peak headways to 20 minutes, as shown in this archived version

- the current schedule (30 minute headways throughout the day, with no peak service) was initially established as a precautionary measure due to the covid-19 pandemic, but the schedule as of that measure's ending still features the removal of peak service, and it still has not returned as of the most recent version of the schedule

none of this is to comment on the other messiness in that section (the waterfront line is currently closed so it is definitely inaccurate, should the blue/green/waterfront pages maybe just all be merged given that the rta classifies them and advertises them as basically the same line and the pages can't help but mention the other lines' schedules?) but i dunno. at the very least i am going to remove the mention of currently running peak service because wikipedia should probably not be actively inaccurate but i do think the scaling back and removal of peak service is probably something that should be mentioned in some capacity and i will leave that task to a better editor than i Irlpinkiepie (talk) 17:46, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
