Use an English title

[edit]

One of the guidelines for titles is that article titles should be in English. That means this article should be moved to "Guardians of the State". - Cameron Dewe (talk) 20:10, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Would be

[edit]

The second sentence in the second paragraph of this article currently says: One of the main reasons would be the lack of monthly fees. I have tagged it as needing clarification, mostly because I am not clear what the main reason is that the lack of monthly fees contributes to. However, by using the phrase "would be the sentence is also written in the past tense about a future state because "would" is the past tense of the word "will" and this being coupled with the infinitive verb "be" makes this sentence seem to be speculating on a future state or hypothesising about what the lack of fees do. As a general rule, Wikipedia articles do not speculate and any hypothesis should be attributed to who is doing the hypothesising. In this case replacing "would be" with "is" turns the sentence into the present tense, which is the tense that should normally be used when writing about a living person or an active organization. Additional clarification is then needed about people's opinion of what the effect is of the lack of fees. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 08:14, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
