Priting?

[edit]

The article mentions "priting" as an industry -- should this be "printing" or something else? -- KathrynLybarger (talk) 05:31, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Must be a typo. fixed it. Visik (talk) 02:24, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Per ENGVAR, this edit established the use of the page as American English. Kindly maintain it consistently, pending a new consensus. — LlywelynII 04:17, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

The Zhuang is interesting and all, but most of the residents are Cantonese. Surely we should include that pronunciation beside the pinyin? — LlywelynII 04:17, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Was the English spelling at one time Kweihsien? I found a book describing events in "Kwei Hsien" in the 1920's and 1930's, and had difficulty determining where that was. But the Swedish language article links it to Guigang.[1] I also see a NYT article from 1930 uses this name for a city.[2]
