Coren bot tag

[edit]

I removed the Coren bot tag from the article. The bot added the tag, suspecting a duplicated article, about five minutes before I completed the cleanup and creation of a disambiguation page for Guitjo. All is well now. N2e (talk) 03:12, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Potential merge needed

[edit]

I just noticed that the Banjo Guitar article is an almost identical copy to a (conceivably older) version of the "Guitjo" article that I 'moved' to this one when I created "Guitjo (six-string)" earlier today. This may indicate that a MERGE should be considered. I don't have the time to look at it right now. The point is that the history of the current "Guitjo" page, now a disambiguation page, should be looked at if anyone is inclined to do forensic work. N2e (talk) 04:01, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My first edit of a Wikipedia page.

[edit]

In my interest of the subject I have added four notable players of the instrument, that I saw as obvious omissions. Three of these players have articles in Wikipedia. I am a musician and hobby musicologist. I have no idea if I have done the right thing here. I enjoy Wikipedia and want to help, where I can. Bingyman (talk) 21:41, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
