Also spelled Gundobald?

[edit]

The Cambridge Medieval History refers to Gundobald the bastard son of Chlotar I "Beseiged in the little town of Comminges situated in a valley of the Pyrenees, Gundobald was forced to surrender, and a Frankish count dashed out his brains with a great stone (585)" in chapter IV - Gaul under the Merovengian Frank's. There are no good references to this spelling and I wondered if it would be useful to add it as an alternate here. 2401:D002:5C02:0:343F:632F:C2CC:9D0 (talk) 02:36, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
