Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.
If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)
I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I may use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.
Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs)
Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.

[edit]Lede
[edit]- Castroneves drove full time - did he not drive full time before this? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 16:58, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- Following his acquittal of tax evasion and conspiracy in early 2009 - does this fit with WP:CRIME? Considering he wasn't found guilty? Also, if it does, it's a weird thing to include without any more info Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 16:58, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Lee Vilenski:, Hélio's trial on those charges resulted in him missing a race in the 2009 season, and his replacement for that race, Will Power, still drives for Team Penske to this day. I believe that fits the "historical event" aspect of WP:CRIME. The article can definitely bridge those events together much better, as it doesn't mention him missing said race until the next section. - I was specifically talking about it being mentioned in the lede. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 18:22, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

General
[edit]- He was educated in the São Paulo school system - seems pretty likely? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:20, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- There was no further information that I could find, I'm afraid MWright96 (talk) 18:34, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- Formula Chevrolet Brazil, - bit of an Easteregg link, as Chevrolet doesn't have much to do with this Motorsport. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:20, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- F3 - I don't think we've defined this. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:20, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- Castroneves had his first career top-ten finish - in CART, right? He's had plenty of top 10s in other disciplines. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:20, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- "the driver who best typifies Moore's outstanding talent on the track as well as displaying a dynamic personality with the fans, media and the CART community."[43 - who said this? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:20, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- That is the citation of the award :) MWright96 (talk) 18:34, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- 3⁄4 race distance - do we need the fraction? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:20, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- top-nines - why nine? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:20, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- I wrote that since he did not finish tenth in that time span MWright96 (talk) 18:34, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- I get that, but it reads weird. We might say "top 8", but generally not top 9. Perhaps change to top 10? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 19:48, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

- Also 6 1/2 Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:20, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- Can we link speed skating? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:44, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- I would not want to add too many wikilinks all together per MOS:SEAOFBLUE MWright96 (talk) 18:34, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- What about speed skating Olympian... - the sport itself is sufficiently unknown to warrant a link. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 19:52, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- Added wikilink and changed wording of the sentence to avoid a violation of MOS:SEAOFBLUE MWright96 (talk) 20:27, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

[edit]- I'll begin the review as soon as I can! If you fancy returning the favour, I have a list of nominations for review at WP:GAN and WP:FAC, respectively. I'd be very grateful if you were to complete one of these if you get time. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 16:49, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
