[edit]Isn't the Arabic letter ح usually transcribed as ḥ? This seems to be a mistake here. But I am not 100% certain as maybe there is more than one alternative.--68.72.110.111 16:44, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

bcz i saw that article more as "Handling of ẖ using Unicode" than as a different sense of the character ẖ, but i probably don't know enuf to quibble over that distinction! Thanks for finishing it up.

- I do not think we need an article on the Unicode glyph any more than we distinguish, say, à from à (Unicode). Just do a single article discussing the letter, including all its possible meanings and its encodings. Seeing how à redirects to grave accent, it may be best to merge the entire thing into Combining macron below. --dab (𒁳) 10:16, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- Seems pretty reasonable. (And for the record, my primary concern was with the labeling of the page as a Rdr.)
Do you think Ḥ is a similar case; i'm loath to tackle it.
