Cataloguing the Crashes

I stopped to read this article because I happened to see a reference to the Sea Wolves elsewhere and was unfamiliar with the unit.

Is there actual value to cataloguing every crash? In reading thru them, I kept expecting to find a closing paragraph stating that the Navy closed the squadron down because of frequency with which they came to a sad end. But, no, there’s a brief paragraph highlighting their accomplishments - can more be done with that and maybe reduce the catalogue to summary data? Sealord
