On "Speedy Deletion"[edit]

I started working on the HEI article because the group has been getting a lot of press due to labor disputes and related student protests, and the lack of a Wikipedia article is making it difficult to get accurate information about HEI.

Yale Daily News on a sit-in based on HEI practices: http://www.yaledailynews.com/articles/view/26655

I'm finding it hard to find reliable information about HEI. Their "history" page doesn't even *work* on my machine: http://www.heihotels.com/about_us/evolution.cfm

They control over $1 billion in controversial private equity funds and numerous upscale hotels, so I don't think relevance is in question.

Best,

If what you say about "a lot of press" is correct, then this needs to be cited in the article. Even if the current article is deleted this is not the end of the world, because a properly cited article asserting the notability (if it can be asserted) of HEI can always be recreated.
Note that nothing in any article may be original research nor may several news articles be used to synthesise such research. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 00:20, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
