Having searched the history, it seems that the Royal Navy website copied the dubious text in the intro from Wikipedia(!) Nevertheless, I've left the text as per my last edit, since it's clear and unambiguous. Shem (talk) 20:18, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
