Who's Who?

[edit]

History page has the following discussion – but none of those who question the identity of this person seem to have added citations that prove one way or the other...

(cur | prev) 2017-09-19T03:14:38‎ Kind Tennis Fan (talk | contribs)‎ . . (4,454 bytes) (+1,380)‎ . . (Rv. the removal of part of the references created cite errors on the article. Please gain consensus first on the talk page for the removal of the content. Thank you.) (undo | thank) (cur | prev) 2017-09-12T23:16:38‎ Nyurapam (talk | contribs)‎ . . (3,074 bytes) (-377)‎ . . (Eliminated portions/source refer to another Harold Buchman: a Hollywood screenwriter, but not a Baltimore lawyer.) (undo | thank)

(cur | prev) 2017-09-12T23:13:56‎ Nyurapam (talk | contribs)‎ . . (3,451 bytes) (-52)‎ . . (→‎See also: Those two categories refer to ANOTHER Harold Buchman. Same name, different people. On the face of it obvious: one's a screenwriter, and one's a lawyer. One's a Baltimore man, one was born in Minnesota.) (undo | thank)

Please, comrades (!!), don't just criticize or question without adding...

For what it's worth, none of the questions have asked whether Buchman was both screenwriter and lawyer, or whether any two such Buchmans were related... Respectfully --Aboudaqn (talk) 01:14, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Aboudagn...these are two DIFFERENT Harold Buchmans, funny as that is. If you look at their obituaries, this becomes obvious. ~Nyurapam — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nyurapam (talkcontribs) 17:17, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Finally revisited this entry. IMDB and others cite Harold Buchman 1912-1990 as screenwriter. I'm having a hard time finding an obit or good summary of a Baltimore-based lawyer, who may or may not be this WWII vet. Aboudaqn (talk) 18:56, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How about a deal here? You start another entry for the Hollywood screenwriter and lift whatever you want out of this entry, and I will continue to add sources about the Jewish, pro-communist lawyer based in Baltimore? Aboudaqn (talk) 18:58, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
