Name?
[edit]Doesn't this fairly notorious hijack have a proper name? "Marin Courthouse Hijack" or something like that? Maikel 09:47, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Eyewitness?
[edit]I have removed this bit from the article:
The eyewitness testimony suggests that Judge Haley was hit by fire discharged from a weapon inside the vehicle to which he had been taken during the incident, since he was being covered by a firearm attached by wiring, tape, and/or a strap of some sort, and/or held beneath his chin.
... as it doesn't make sense. As his head was blown off then it is evident that he was shot with that shotgun that was affixed to his head.
Rework
[edit]This article is currently pretty shoddy and really needs to be given a work-over, I'd appreciate it if someone more competent than me could have a go, thanks. Maikel 09:47, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- This bit being a good example:
- Some accounts of the incident report that Judge Haley's head was taken almost completely off his body as a result of the close-range shotgun blast.
- What, can there be any doubt as to whether his head was blown off? (Sorry if this sounds cynical.) Maikel 09:49, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
