Sourcing and substance[edit]

Harold McCracken is almost certainly notable, although I have doubts the 3 sources we have are quite enough. However the article is very weak. The lead mentions lots of things that are not mentioned in the article. The substance of the article opens with him doing explaration in 1916 when he was about 22, leaving off anything about where he was born and raised, where he may have received his edutation, or even where he lived at all before that. We need more basic biographical information in the article. We would benefit from more context period.John Pack Lambert (talk) 14:31, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The sources seem to be an exhibit from an organization he worked with, 1 newspaper article that is somewhat local to him, and what looks to be an interview with him. This sourcing is not enough. I will look for more.John Pack Lambert (talk) 14:33, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I did find an add a Cody Enterprise article on McCracken. It does not tell us anything of his life before his trip to British Columbia at age 18. Most interestingly it does not tell us where he was coming from at age 18. Here is the source [1].
