Much as I appreciate whoever took the time to work up this article, Harry Ring was not a Communist. He was a life-long Socialist and leader in the Socialist Worker's Party, a significantly different left-wing faction from the Communist Party. Harry was one of the subjects of the FBI's infamous Cointelpro operation in the 1960s and 1970s. I know this because Harry was my uncle and also the man who served me my first martini, a drink he favored but which I always thought was a bit bourgeois for him. I haven't amended the actual article because I am a somewhat experienced Wikipedian and know I need a reliable source for this. I may come back and work on it more later but if anybody else has published source info on Harry, have at it! Tomaterols (talk) 23:17, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
