Mike Oldfield's backing band

[edit]

IIRC, they also provided the backing band for Mike Oldfield's live performances of Tubular Bells in 1973? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.27.235.55 (talk) 02:56, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Saint Etienne's Home Counties

[edit]

On this album (released summer 2017), there is a short track called "Popmaster" (a quiz on BBC Radio 2) in which a contestant is asked to name 3 songs by "Hatfield and the North". The contestant is clearly unable to name any tracks by this band (which is quite funny IMO) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.37.55.201 (talk) 10:31, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
