[edit]

During my studies for a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design I wrote an essay about the work of Hector Heathwood, photographer. My research involved a person to person interview with Hector and we have since known each other socially as we share some common interests. In this article I have tried to avoid personal opinion and simply relate the facts. I'm an admirer of Hector Heathwood's work, that's true, but I also fully believe there is interest in it in Ireland and internationally. He has exhibited and been published in numerous countries throughout Europe and the USA. ~~Alice Mahon~~
