An adjective is not a thing; either this is retitled to "Hemiboreal zone" or it should only be a Wikitionary entry.Skookum1 (talk) 13:43, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

True, the arcticle should be renamed "Hemiboreal zone". It is a distinctive area with regards to vegetation/ecosystems. Orcaborealis (talk) 15:50, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Normal English for the concept in question is "sub-boreal"...."hemiboreal" strikes me as a neologism invented by a particular author or group/org. Another such similar term, whose meaning I believe is similar, is "nearctic". WP:Most common usage should prevail, i.e. "sob-boreal" as in Sub-boreal zone, although "zone" I"m not sure should be capitlized or uncapitalized.Skookum1 (talk) 20:03, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
