Although this is credited to "A. Tresham", it looks like Tresham's style. Is it? Miniapolis 23:43, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
- It seems like the original uploader to German Wikipedia found a Mary Evans Picture library image at AllPosters.com, where it is listed by A. Tresham. However a search on Google images suggests that it comes from Robert Bowyer's edition of David Hume's History of England (1793–1806). Tresham definitely painted for Bowyer's History Gallery, so the simplest explanation is that "A Tresham" is a typo for "H Tresham". On that basis, I'll update the Wikimedia page and add this to the Tresham article. Rupert Clayton (talk) 03:26, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
