Programming evaluation categorisation[edit]

I've removed this article from the "programming evaluation" category, as every other article in it discussed something different, i.e. methods that computers use for evaluation the value of an expression, rather than methods that programmers use to evaluate how well a program performs its task. Perhaps there should be another category for the latter, which could also include articles like code review. JulesH 11:18, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Current research[edit]

The Comparative Usability Evaluation studies are probably worth a mention if anyone wants to expand this article. In light of this research, "further experts yield diminishing returns in terms of usability problems found" is inaccurate. --Ronz (talk) 19:41, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Minimalist design[edit]

I linked minimalist design to progressive disclosure, although I'm not entirely happy with that.

Minimalist design is a goal or a property of a design, while progressive disclosure is one of a few techniques used to achieve it. As such, it should have its own wikipedia page, since it comes up in disciplines other than user interface design, such as graphic design. rhyre (talk) 15:52, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think you're looking for Minimalism_(computing)#Usage and Minimalism (technical communication). Maybe you could expand those sections and link them together. Diego (talk) 15:45, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent. That's a more sensible place to go. rhyre (talk) 15:52, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
