The second paragraph ends in the following sentence.

By the well-known theorem, such a reduction takes place if and only if there exists a global section of the quotient bundle . This section is treated as a classical Higgs field.

This is unclear. What "well-known theorem" is this talking about? MWinter4 (talk) 00:06, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
