Fact nominated for Did You Know? today.
[edit]I know the article is not finished yet, but because it is off to a good start with suitable referencing, I have nominated the fact about the Scarborough-Whitby County Cup riot for the Did You Know? section of the main page. I took the opportunity to do some copyediting of spelling and punctuation at the same time. Hassocks5489 (talk) 11:45, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Home to Palestine
[edit]No mention of when Scarborough played Palestine at The Theatre of Chips. Would have been soon after Palestine was recognised as a State by the UN. I guess early 1990s.....I was there....so know that it happened. Any knowledge out there? 2A00:23C4:1E94:401:9DA2:ECD1:F924:5019 (talk) 15:15, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
