Merge[edit]

"Homeless discrimination" is not an alternative name for "hobo bashing". Homeless discrimination refers to the lack of equal opportunity in housing, employment and other services for homeless people. The circumstances described in this article, the bashing of homeless people, belongs in the broader article Homelessness, in particular, Homelessness#Violent crimes against the homeless. Re: Merge[edit]

Ok, I accept your opinion. I think that it should be merged. But discrimination isn't just an unequal opportunity for the homeless, apparently most homeless people had an opportunity to have a home (getting a job, government support, etc.). In my opinion discrimination refers to people being offencive to the homeless. But still, merging the article makes perfect sense.

Would you consider the holocaust discrimination then because where I am from (Florida) people are making laws to get homeless people out of the county instead of trying to help them find a job and get stable. Finding a job is not as easy as people think. If you are homeless firstly what are you suppose to put as your residence.. because you do have to have a address to get a job. Second what are they suppose to wear to a interview if they do manage to get a interview... Have you been to Goodwill??? Pants cost five dollars... I mean sometimes you are better gonig to the mall and do some clearance shopping. So discrimination is not only being offensive .. In America we are all equal.. and throwing homeless people out of counties is just like killing jews. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.136.63.103 (talk) 17:36, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
