Anon 74, the correct place to discuss what to include or exclude in the article is on this talk page here. If you have something you want to say, please put it here and not directly on the article page itself. Also, please refrain from blanking the page entirely and starting over, as that removes the "good" parts as well as the bad (in particular, the category, stub, and unref tags).

Having said all of that: Which info is not true? What info do you think is correct? Do you have any references?

--- Should piccolo be corrected to indicate the type of harmonica? It currently links to an actual piccolo, which isn't used in the song. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.172.100.11 (talk) 21:44, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable source?

[edit]

As much as I enjoy cracked.com, is an article from a humor website really a reliable source for interpreting the meaning of a song? Not that I'm questioning the interpretation, mind you, but I think citing Cracked actually makes this article look less reliable than if there was no source at all for that statement. Psychojosh13 (talk) 13:42, 31 May 2013 (UTC) I removed the Cracked link, as we have other links for it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.242.208.156 (talk) 02:42, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hook (Blues Traveler song)Hook (song) – Currently, Hook (song) is a redirect towards Hook (music), a concept that is in music and not a song. Per WP:DABSONG, the disambiguator "(song)" is intended to be used for musical compositions, not concepts in the compositions. Also per WP:DABSONG, since the Blues Traveler song seems to be the only composition with an article (see Hook (disambiguation)#Other arts and entertainment Hook (disambiguation)#Music), this article should be retitled as proposed. Nominator comment: Though I don't agree with retargeting Hook (song) to the disambiguation page, just in case consensus sways this way, I separated the "music" subjects at the disambiguation page into their own subsection at Hook (disambiguation)#Music.
