Possible Inaccuracy

[edit]

The statement in the introductory paragraph about the Humboldt River being "the largest river in the United States, in terms of discharge, that does not ultimately reach the ocean" is suspect. The Bear River which runs through Wyoming, Idaho and Utah and empties into the Great Salt Lake does not ultimately reach the ocean, but has an average annual discharge of 52.0 cu. m/s See: Google Books Bottom left of page 664. The listed discharge for the Humboldt River is much less.

Got enough sources yet?

[edit]

I've been sourcing the article. Do y'all think there are enough reliable sources to remove the "additional citations" box? Riverhugger (talk) 13:48, 9 June 2012 (UTC)Riverhugger[reply]
