Prison Population[edit]

The numbers for Texas prison population are old -- California passed Texas several years ago. Will research and update. ClaudeMuncey (talk) 22:10, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

The number of Texas prisoners is 155,000 and counting.[1]The California Department of Corrections is 165,000 according to their website.[2] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cheald10 (talkcontribs) 22:34, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

I have a link to the Directory, where Huntsville Prison Ministries are listed. These ministries are making a big difference in inmate's lives. How do I list it not to violate all the rules? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Prisonministry (talkcontribs) 21:03, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Unfortunately you probably can't list it. WP:EL says to not have too many external links. We should have maybe two (TDCJ profile and the Handbook entry) WhisperToMe (talk) 21:25, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Huntsville "Walls" Unit [3]Cheald10 (talk) 20:33, 5 November 2008 (UTC) TDCJ Unit Directory list the Mountain View Unit as housing Death Row http://tdcj.state.tx.us/stat/unitdirectory/mv.htm 168.51.179.4 (talk) 21:28, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

Well, yes, Mountain View has the female death row - Polunsky has the male death row. WhisperToMe (talk) 21:24, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
