I've known Mr. Ratliff for most of his life...The comments in contention was James open contradiction. Although one can argue that circumstances should not be automatically be considered an oxymoron, this is a statement of fact. I recommend that the statement stands. This not only reflects Mr. Ratliff's life during the period of his adulthood, it also is a reflection of the San Francisco Bay area in the 90s, with Pittsburg, Richmond, and Oakland CA having this almost schizophrenic mindset. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dannydohrmann (talk • contribs) 04:57, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
