Full-size Or Not?
[edit]It's clearly bigger than a Santa Fe, so it can't be mid-size. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:210:1450:C1D0:F24F:94FB:781B (talk) 23:26, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
I agree. It is bigger than the Santa Fe which is Mid-size. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.163.155.150 (talk) 16:33, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- Any reason I shouldn't believe these unsigned anonymous IPs geo-located near each other are sockpuppets? Anyway, some sources say it is mid-size, others say it is full-size. Mid-size has more sources though. Thecarconnection calls it a "large SUV", but it seems to put nearly every single other 3-row SUV/CUV in that category. There are definitely well-established 2-row and 3-row mid-size classes. I think this needs more consensus. --Vossanova o< 22:04, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
Mid-size. Reasons: same class and similar dimensions with the Toyota Highlander, Nissan Pathfinder, Honda Pilot, Ford Explorer, etc., all with the same 3-row format. Andra Febrian (talk) 15:21, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
In my opinion the Palisade is a mid-size plus, like the Buick Enclave. It is larger than the Santa Fe mid-size crossover and around the same size as the Ford Explorer, Nissan Pathfinder, Cadillac XT6, and Buick Enclave. Ee2mba (talk) 16:42, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
Alright, let's settle this. Google searching has revealed the following:
- Mid-size: Hyundai PR (another one), KBB, Car & Driver, Extremetech, US News, Edmunds, CNet, NVDaily, IIHS, Car-Ed
- Full-size: Boston.com, TheCarConnection ("large")
- Can't seem to decide: TheDrive (mid-size, full-size), TrueCar (in a full-size SUV list, it's described as "midsize"!)
The majority of sources online, including Hyundai themselves and the IIHS, call it a mid-size SUV. Given the consensus above from users with accounts, and full-size has not been given references on the WP page, I plan to revert it back to mid-size SUV with the references I had before. If anonymous users continue to change it, I will have the page protected. --Vossanova o< 20:21, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
Google search calls it a Compact SUV, so it’s not an SUV many sources call it a CUV. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.163.155.150 (talk) 23:40, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
