[edit]What happened to Caroline and Tim? Do they only present the west bulletins? They seem to have completely disappeared from the team, and aren't even mentioned in this article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.22.159.178 (talk) 14:06, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Tim Curtis and Caroline Oldrey have apparently been dropped as part of the recent changes - certainly they have both left, and presumably not voluntarily. The article no longer mentions the likes of Karl Heidel, John Francis and Timothy Evans, reporters who have also had to leave. Maybe some of the above volunteered for redundancy, but this has not been made clear. Even David Hughes seems to have gone, which is surprising. Perhaps the best money saving option is to push out the most experienced and long-established presenters, who presumably have moved up the salary scale over the years. I think it’s a shame that Tim and Caroline are gone, and so far the changes have not been for the better in my view. I’d like to see the Bedford bridge backdrop again, for one thing. And has Emma Thomas also gone? I always liked her... 91.107.127.124 (talk) 22:22, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
In fact, the article no longer mentions the like of Sarah Beecroft, Charlotte Fisher and Lorna Ramsey, which suggests that they have also gone. In fact, Lorna appeared today, and Charlotte was in evidence a few times recently. The article should include all reporters still connected with the programme.91.107.89.85 (talk) 22:56, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Update: The article states that David Hughes and Jim Rice have gone, but that is not the case. The omission of Charlotte Fisher and Lorna Ramsey suggests that they have, but also that is not the case. There have been no recent appearances from Emma Thomas, Sarah Beecroft and Karen Dallas. 91.107.124.34 (talk) 00:15, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
