those uniformed guys that Curse encounters aren't soldiers, they are border police officers (cf. Bundesgrenzschutz in de-wiki). At about 2m12s in the video, you can see the insignia on the arm/shoulder patch of the rightmost officer. Insignia and uniform style would set the video in the 80ies, though the cars used by the others seem newer. Also, the vehicle the border police officers are using is a large police (the green and white painting hints at it, even though it's lacking the typical lettering) van, known as "Wanne" in German. Interesting. Thanks for your detailed information. Accordingly i've changed the first instance of 'soldiers' in the article to 'border police officers', and all subsequent mention of 'soldiers' to 'officers'. Hope this is to your liking. :) Freikorp (talk) 08:41, 1 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
