Untitled[edit]

Ilaram Das had been a great saint who made his life time contribution through preaching and spreading of the Bhagawat Dharma.

Mahapurush Shrimanta Shankardev introduced to the world this "BHAGAWAT DHARMA" in one of his

small work of verses named "BHAKTI PRADEEP". In the KEERTAN GHOSHA",another work of verses, Shankardev has mentioned this "BHAGAWAT DHARMA" as NAAM DHARMA"(...naam dharma karila prachar). Mahapurush Madhavdev has said it as EK SHARAN HARI NAAM DHARMA" (...ek sharan Hari naam dharamakahu raja karu parkash). Many of our faithful discipleship feel satisfaction at saying it as "MAHAPURUSHIA DHARMA".

In order to unify the differentiated sects of bhagawats (Bhakat) Ilaram Das organised

"EK SHARAN BHAGAWATI SAMAJ". He remained unanimously the Head of the Samaj, the "Acharjya" and worked throughout his life time for taking the teachings of the great Guru Shrimanta Shankardev to the down trodden

society. His contributions established Ilaram Das beyond his followers as Acharjya, and above it he has been

appreciated as Saint Ilaram Das by the elite sects of the society.

He is to be better known as Santa Ilaram Das rather than confining within the

'Ek Sharan Bhagawati Samaj' as the 'Acharjya'.
