Bids[edit]

I've added the names under which the bids have been submitted. Regarding inter city - railways limited, I'm not entirely sure whether inter should have a capital 'i' or not. It doesn't seem they know either themselves. This press release [1] has a capital 'i' whilst this press release from the same website has it with a lowercase 'i' [2]. I've gone with the lowercase as that's how the DfT announcement has it. Adambro 14:12, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the press release [3], is from 2004 when they bidded previously, looks like its lowercase 'i'. Adambro 14:14, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Winner[edit]

When the winner of the franchise is announced, this page should immediatley be moved to a new title and converted into a page about the new operator.

I have started a draft for the page here, feel free to use or not use it. I would have done this myself, but I'll be on a Wikibreak. --Jorvik 11:32, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seconded as per recent deletion after anouncements of cross country, east and west Midlands and south western franchise articles. Pickle 13:03, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK do we want to merge with National Express East Coast and delete this article ? Pickle 17:12, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd suggest merge. Simply south 17:34, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I propose to move the introductory text to National Express East Coast and then delete this page. Marcgr 20:42, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well just turn it into a redirect Pickle 01:34, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Have gone ahead with merger and redirect. --Jorvik 18:59, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
