Untitled[edit]

This kinda sounds like the stuff we write in our marketing ads. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.21.121.224 (talk) date

The intro -- and several other parts of this article read like a press release. Smartyhall (talk) 06:07, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Added the "advert" tag, the intro needs rewriting. Ag87 (talk) 10:36, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Tag was subsequently deleted before thorough cleanup. Tag re-added. One of the reasons it reads like PR bollocks is presumably that it was creatededited by User:HelenLau, and "Helen Lau" is according to LinkedIn the name of "Global Online Marketing Manager at Interoute Communications Limited".[1] I'm not in any way saying the subject isn't notable, but it's worth an objective Wikipedia:NPOV article based on reliable sources, not this crap. Also I notice a UK IP address deleted text about an expected news story.[2] --Cedderstk 18:45, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies, I must have misread the history. Contributor Helen Lau did not create the page. Nevertheless, much of text remains dubious in content and style.--Cedderstk 19:05, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Europe's largest-ever data network[edit]

"... the world's first 'petabit' network ... link 17 countries and 70 cities, have 200 Points of Presence, measure 20,900km long and use over 8m kilometres of the latest generation G655 optical fibre... France's Alcatel has been awarded a $1.5bn contract to build the network and America's Corning Glass will provide the fibre-optic cable."
