Map legend
It appears that current routes are in red, whereas historical routes are in grey. Is that correct? —Rob (talk) 17:42, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah - the description for Image:Indianapolis.svg (which I can't use because of bug 5463) explains it. --SPUI (T - C) 20:42, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Be informed that you'll have to alter the end of 136 sometime in the near future, as they're going to put direct diamond ramps to 465, and tear out the "wrong way" roadways (the continuation of the 74 roadways) entirely.[1] Mapsax 20:26, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- What happens now? Eastbound U.S. 136 runs under I-74/465, then turns left onto Crawfordsville Road to end at the actual I-74/465 intersection? It looks like it, so I'll update the U.S. Route 136 article to actually say so... —Rob (talk) 21:03, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
I go through this every day; it's signed as terminating at the stoplight. I think the 74 roadways at this point are technically considered a ramp. --Random832 (contribs) 15:07, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
How many miles
How many miles of numbered highways does 465 carry? My estimate says 170 (other than 465's own 53 miles): 24 of US-31, 20 of IN-37, 19 of IN-67, 19 of US-40, 24 of US-36, 22 of US-52, 22 of US-421, 20 of I-74. Including 465 itself, that makes a grand total of 223 miles. (Anyone know if this has been independently mentioned/calculated by a notable source so it can be included in the article?) --Random832 16:58, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

The article's style does not relect the encyclopedic tone
In the article, it only shows the history and future, but it does not display the current situation. The current situation is the indispensable section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TTYY666 (talk • contribs) 02:24, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
- It has a section on the route description and a table that shows every interchange, just like any other article on Interstate highways. I don't know what more could be needed s far as its current situation is concerned. Indyguy (talk) 04:01, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
