Untitled
[edit]This station is linked as the terminus for the Kyle of Lochalsh line, yet on the KoL page, it is listed as the first station. Also, on the other three stations for which pages have already been made on this line, it's E-W running, i.e. Inverness at the start. That's why I'm changing it now. Platform arrangements
[edit]Since I use this station quite a lot, here is a rundown of the platform arrangements. I've put it here since I would really want someone to verify it before it went into the main article:
- Platform 1 - used only for the NXEC Highland Chieftain and the Caledonian Sleeper.
- Platform 2,3,4 - used for all Scotrail trains for Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
- Platform 5 - this is the one that can be accessed by both the line to Dingwall and the line to Aberdeen/Perth. Usually used for the Far North Line to Wick and Thurso and the Kyle of Lochalsh line
- Platform 6 - usually used for the Far North Line or the Kyle of Lochalsh line.
- Platform 7 - not used at all often, some way away from the main station, most often used for parking spare units.
