Hi,
Could someone please annotate whether the Avestan entries in the comparison table correspond to Old Avestan, Younger Avestan, or both, or at the very least cite sources whence the material in the table was taken?  ’preciate it  —PowerPCG5 (talk) 05:22, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with the Map used

[edit]

On the Indo-Aryan page, we have a clear, concise map of the different subsets of the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-Iranian languages; it is helpful to readers, it helps them get a general idea of the range of the Indo-Aryan languages, and it is generally beneficial. However, the map on this page is the exact opposite; subdivisions are not shown, only showing an approximate area where the Iranian languages are spoken in blue. The map is zoomed out to include the entire world, which is unhelpful for readers and only hinders their experience. Based off of this, should the current map be replaced with a more useful alternative? Praxeria (talk) 21:36, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Farsi words have been introduced instead of Lori words in the language comparison table.

[edit]

The words that are marked as Luri language words, many of them are not used at all in any of the sub-branches of the Luri language, and those words that are Luri are not used in most of the Luri languages. 5.214.248.140 (talk) 14:24, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
