What happened to the other four parties?

[edit]

This article previously listed four other parties as being members of Italian Left when it was still a coalition (The Labour Party, The Network 2018, the Party of the South, and the Sicilian Socialist Party). They were recently removed without an explanation. Does anyone know if they merged into the new party or not? Charles Essie (talk) 18:54, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The four cited parties were not merged into SI. Also the South Tyrolean Greens are no longer affiliated with SI, were not merged into it and are not an associate party of it, as 93.32.74.54 correctly pointed out by editing the article. --Checco (talk) 21:18, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Checco: What about the Venetian Left? They're still on the list but the article doesn't say if they've merged into Italian Left or not? Charles Essie (talk) 20:35, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It was merged into SI, but it was a tiny party, with no deputies, senators and regional councillors, and very few sources mentioning it. I would not mention it in the article's text, but just in the list, and I will try to find more sources on it. --Checco (talk) 05:09, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The Facebook page of Venetian Left clearly shows that the party supports Italian Left. --Checco (talk) 08:43, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
