Added Trivia heading and with it a mention of BB King.

Where does the name come from?

Good point. Tracked the name down and added the info to the Trivia section. buck 14:10, 3 August 2005 (UTC)

history section[edit]

it is tiny now, i hope to add to it. i am not trying to suggest that this march with stokely carmichael and MLK is the only thing that ever happened in itta bena. — alf.laylah.wa.laylah (talk) 02:15, 27 August 2011 (UTC)

I know this is not under the appropriate section, but check this link on the population if you will.

That says 2,017 in 2012 and nothing about 2011 as far as I can tell. But I think it's more appropriate to use the census bureau; who knows where that number came from? It's a question of which is more likely to be correct, the census bureau or some website?— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 01:38, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
