Ukrainian Sketches
[edit]Hrm- the name on the score listed in Worldcat of the Ukrainian Sketches (Ukrainsʹki eskizy; dli︠a︡ strunnoho kvartetu) (see OCLC 9072512) is Jakob Koffler, not Józef Koffler. It's possible that the "Jakob", like the "Op.27", was added by a library, the former perhaps incorrectly to expand a "J.", and the latter perhaps more correctly... it happens. Then again, there are occasionally, even often, composers with the same first initials as other composers composing at roughly (or even more or less exactly) the same time... (James H[otchkiss] Rogers, James H[enderson] Rogers...) Schissel | Sound the Note! 16:04, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
