Military and political career of James Clinton
[edit]There seem to be no citations for the career of James Clinton (military or political.) In which regiment of the Irish army did he serve? Which constituency did he represent as a politician & where are the dates for his term(s) of office? There are records, military & political, for this time period. James Clinton, whilst holding such a prominent position, seemingly slips through the recorded history of Britain & Ireland unnoticed. (As does his father before him.)
