James Holmes Schoedde:[edit]

(there is a lot of unsourced material here: please read WP:CITE carefully before editing fully sourced articles. thanks.)

This material was sourced, as mentioned as a reference, from a facsimile version of the 1879 edition of Celer et Audax, A Sketch of the Services of the Fifth Battalion, Sixtieth Regiment ( Rifles ) by Major-General Gibbes Rigaud, Late Lieu.-Colonel 60th Royal Rifles. Pages 273 to 277.

Fair enough. Good Source. Why don't you use in line citations then as required by WP:CITE? Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 16:49, 27 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have now added the citations for you. I assume that all the new material was from the same source. Dormskirk (talk) 17:04, 27 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dormskirk edit[edit]

Many thanks for the reversion and the additional work with the references - I feel that it now does him justice. As with previous years, I will be putting a poppy cross on his grave in the coming weeks - "In memory of the officers & men of Wellington's Peninsular Army"

The reasons for the inadequate citations and references are A. I am still rather a 'flintstone' user in many aspects of computer use and B. I only do Wiki editing work very sporadically.
